Inline turret winder with a maximum winding diameter of 2.4 m.
The winder is equipped with a system that enables both adhesive-free attachment of the web to the core and attachment using adhesive tape. The concept allows the winding direction to be changed inline with every finished roll change, enabling highly flexible production within a continuous inline process.
Highly Automated Slitter Rewinder for Darkroom Operation
This highly automated slitter rewinder is specifically designed for operation in darkroom environments. The machine’s unique handling concept enables almost all operation to be performed via the unloading and loading stands, minimizing the need for direct operator interaction
In addition, the unloading stand can be automatically loaded and unloaded by a handling robot, further increasing process efficiency and automation.
This combined solution ensures a safe and highly automated process within a darkroom environment while eliminating safety-related risks. To achieve this, the machine is designed to automatically position the cores, attach the web to the cores, and, after the winding process, automatically seal and discharge the finished rolls.
This slitting machine is designed for processing open adhesive tapes.
The machine concept shown enables the handling of highly tacky materials with slit widths starting from 15 mm.
A key feature of the system is the automatic lubrication or wetting of the knives during production, depending on machine speed. This ensures reliable cutting performance even when processing demanding adhesive materials.
In addition, the machine is equipped with a laminating station, allowing tapes with the adhesive exposed on the outer side of the roll to be wound safely. The outermost layer is automatically covered with a protective film, ensuring secure handling and storage of the finished rolls.
This rewinder is designed for processing a wide range of nonwoven materials.
The maximum unwind diameter of 2m has been customized to meet the specific requirements of the customer.
The machine is additionally equipped with a camera-based defect detection system to ensure consistent product quality throughout the process. Furthermore, it supports multi-web slitting operation, allowing it to temporarily relieve the workload of other slitting machines at the customer’s facility and provide greater production flexibility.
